I LOVE PRANKS...and other updates.

You caught me. I do, I LOVE pranks. In fact, I pulled a few real quality ones this weekend on poor Ash Gibson.

I can't help that she is the PERFECT person to play pranks on because:
A. She reacts so perfectly
B. She would never expect it
C. I know she will always love me

So prank #1:
As Ashley got in the shower upstair, Stef, Crystal, Natalie, and I head upstairs with a VERY large bowl of ice water. She locked the door of course, but to no avail. We picked the lock. She tried to block the cold water, and this is what happened:

The only thing I felt bad about was that she fell really hard to her knees so we wouldn't see her nakedness. The rest, was so funny.

Prank #2:
While she was in the shower, me and Cam went to her drawer full of undies (which I must say she has a BILLION pairs) and threw them up on the ledge by her attic. Hahaha...no undies left.

Prank #3:
I got hot sauce packets and folded them in half so that they were tight...then placed them strategically underneath the toilet seat. The next morning we were supposed to get up and run the 5K. I laid there, half dead as I hear her go in to go potty. I knew I sure hadn't gone yet, so I knew what was coming....wait for it....she sits down...and I hear:

*Pop!*
Ash: What. The. Crap.
Chelsea: HAHAHAHA OHHHH MY GOSH!
Ash: GET UP! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!! Hot sauce?! IT IS EVERYWHERE. Get, YOUR BUTT, out of that bed. GET UP!
Chelsea: HAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOSH THAT IS SO FUNNY!
Ash: You are so dead. I hate you SO MUCH!

Prank #4 Salt in the toothpaste. I didn't get to see the reaction on that one....but I am sure it was good.

Prank #5 Rice under the fitted sheet. This is so annoying because you think that it is crumbs, but you can't get it out. Ha...didn't get to see this one either...but I heard about it.

Oh man...I love them.

Here is a few other updates!

The WOW week (week of welcome) has been SO awesome. All of us on student government have worked our little bums off! And I think it has paid off. Here are a few pictures of the week.

The booth for the service club. It took SO long, and I love it.

Our first service project went SO WELL!! And it makes me so happy.

37 Blankets to Battered women were completed

I am very pooped.

It has been one long 2 weeks.
I am back here in the heat and just got back from my sixth - yes I wrote that right - sixth retreat.
Now I love retreats.
Lots of good food, laughing, A LOT of planning and goal setting, one million get to know you games, Dinners with Donna in the kitchen making "saltsa" as she would say, listening to all of her good advice and stories of years and years at Dixie, telling my old people stories eight million times, dance parties, uncomfortable sleeping situations, waking up too early and staying up too late.

Now, this is all REALLY, really fun. Just maybe not six times fun. But still fun. I love Dixie.

We are just gearing up for next year now, and like it or not school starts on monday.
I don't think I ever been this busy and I may just burn myself out in the first week.
But once I get through that I should be good.
I am now in the process of:
*Being on student government
*Applying for the nursing program which means a lot of headache and worry
*Going to school
*Starting a new job at homecare and hospice
*Getting a new service center/service council started and running (I have the best people ever to work with!)
*Trying to have a social life
*TRYING to date (bleh)
*Trying to be active in the church
*STILL trying to get moved in (as I lay here motivating myself to get off my lovesac and unpack my dang boxes)
And all in the midst trying to sleep and eat...both of which are starting to dwindle.

ANYWAY, wish me luck.
The next two weeks may just be the death of me.
But I feel once that application is in and my big service projects are out of the way, I may just be able to come up for some air before I have to dive back in.

I don't know why I sign up for these things sometimes.
All the same, if I wasn't this busy I don't think I would be me.
And I really don't like that much down time.
It really wigs me out.

Creeper number one (copyright Hannah G.)

Sooo.... I have a story about a CREEPSTER.

I went down to St. George this week to get some student government stuff done. I couldn't quite move in yet so all of us girls (8 of us I believe) were crashing at Ashley's house.
Well, Crystal went to the computer center and her phone was stolen.
Not thinking much about it, all of us started calling her phone to see if someone would pick up or if maybe she just misplaced it.

Me and Ash started dozing off upstairs when all of the sudden all the girls come SCREAMing and running up the stairs.

Dazed and confused we woke up to hear the story. This is how the conversation went:

"Guys! This guy is calling us from my number (it was 1:38AM) and breathing heavy, saying he knows where we are, and that he has my phone. Now he keeps sending us pictures of his nose!"

Ok so we were definitely freaked out even if it WAS his nose of all things. It was still weird.

Then Vayla starts yelling that he is outside.

Judd.

So we try and call campus police. No answer. Great.
We call non-emergency. No answer. Even awesomer.
So I think maybe we should call 911 and say it is a "non-emergency sitch".

Ashley coming to her senses says, "Guys! Wait. We can't call 911. We are gonna call and say, 'help, someone needs to come and save us from a guy who is sending us a picture of his nose!'?We sound like idiots."

She was right. We totally did. So we said a prayer and all slept together.

The next day an officer came to talk to student government about our responsibilities as leaders. We told him the story and he told us that it was a serious situation.

That guys from out of town stole a girl's phone from the computer center and tried to get her to meet them.

Anyway, I guess it could have ended up sketchy. And I am still wigged out that he knows where she is.

I hate creepers.

And it still is a little funny. Ha.

Sometimes...

I get sad.
And frustrated.
And bugged.
And I don't really have a reason...
other than my health really "cramps my style", as Hannah would say.
I know that there is a way out of all these issues,
I just haven't figured it out yet.
All I can say is that I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Eventually I will figure it out.
Hmph.
